  1. To open Group Policy in Windows 10, hit Windows + R, type gpedit.msc in the Run window, and press Enter.
  2. In the Group Policy box, click the following: Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search > Computer Configuration
  3. Double-click the Allow Cortana option in the right pane.
  4. To save the changes, select the Disabled option and click OK. To make the modifications take effect, restart your computer.
