Get in touch

Most messages for TechiLabs come through while I’m writing or fact-checking a page, so I reply in gaps between tasks. You should hear back within a couple of days—often sooner, but I prefer not to commit to a fixed number of hours. If your message is about something that needs a correction, I will usually jump on it the same day.

Corrections on a program page

Specs move fast, and I miss details. If a version number, file size, compatibility line or install note looks wrong, tell me which page it’s on and what you’ve spotted. Where you can, include a link to the developer’s release notes or a screenshot; it saves me hunting for the source. I correct factual errors without attribution, or credit you by name if you prefer—just say so.

Questions about a program or your setup

I can answer specific questions about the data that already appears on a page, but I don’t run my own benchmarks or test beyond the published requirements. To get a useful answer, give me these in your email to [email protected]:

  • App name and the version shown on the TechiLabs page.
  • Your macOS version and build number.
  • Whether you’re on Apple silicon or Intel.

If you’re reporting that an app won’t launch, add the crash log; without it, I’m just guessing. Post-install behaviour—plug-ins not appearing in a host, helper tools not starting—is often covered in the install notes I’ve already written, so re-read that block first.

Accounts, comments and saved favourites

Comments stay in an “awaiting moderation” state visible only to you until I’ve reviewed them. I read every one against the spec on the page. If you’ve hit a limit with saved favourites, or a notification about an update didn’t fire, mention the app names and the Mac you’re browsing from—that helps me reproduce the fault faster.

For copyright or takedown matters, use the dedicated DMCA page instead; it has the required contact details and a step-by-step outline of what I need to act on a notice.
